In the summer of 2022, HVC Cigars opened up their own factory in Estelí, Nicaragua called Fábrica de Tabacos HVC S.A. de Reinier Lorenzo however they still get their tobacco from Aganorsa Leaf so the same great flavor profile HVC is known for still exists.

The first cigar from the new factory is Selección No. 1. Available in three sizes the cigar utilizes a Mexican San Andres wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Estelí and Jalapa, Nicaragua.

The result is a medium-full cigar that delivers notes of mocha, espresso, earth and a slightly spicy finish.
