Reinier Lorenzo started HVC Cigars back in 2011. In addition to his love for bourbon and scotch, (which we know about first-hand!), Reinier loves cigars and having spent much of his life living in Havana, he wanted to develop a line of cigars reminiscent of the smokes he enjoyed during his time there.
Beautiful cigars started coming out of his Nicaraguan factory, brands such as Hot Cake, Vieja Consecha and Cerro. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of his company, Reinier created a unique, limited-edition cigar featuring some his best, prized tobaccos.
This Nicaraguan Puro features Jalapa Corojo ’99 wrapper topping a fantastic blend of Corojo ’99, Corojo ’12 and Criollo ’98. You will find notes of charred wood, earth and nuts finishing with just a touch of spice. The overall strength is medium-bodied, quite flavorful, and perfectly balanced.
Reinier Lorenzo has outdone himself with his 10th Anniversary and hopefully I’m around and can look forward to experiencing his 20th Anniversary creation down the road.
Only 2,000 boxes of these gems have been produced.
