As for the new Peppers Series release, Viaje company included an icon of a ghost in the announcement, and the box design features the same ghost image that was used on the Viaje GP 10.31, which was released in October 2017 as part of the company’s White Label Project. In the announcement about the cigar on social media, the company said that “these Peppers are our most recent WLP graduate receiving their own proper branding,” which suggests this is the same, or at least a very similar cigar to the GP 10.31. That cigar was a 4 7/8 x 50 perfecto with a Nicaraguan corojo wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler. The factory that produced that cigar was not disclosed.
The Viaje Peppers Series dates back to 2015 and is a collection of small perfectos that get their names from different types of peppers. Thus far, the line includes the Jalapeño, Ghost Pepper, Carolina Reaper, and Scotch Bonnet, as well as a line extension of thicker versions called the Phat Jalapeño, Phat Carolina Reaper and Phat Purple Jalapeño.
